Who we are
Hi! I'm Jeni, and yes, that's me on my own wedding day, right where I'm happiest: the dance floor!
After graduating from WAAPA (the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) and touring the world with various dance companies, I came back home to Sydney to ‘settle down’.
Luckily for me, I met the partner of my dreams and have been happily married since 2015.
I've always loved choreography and teaching, but creating our first dance together showed me just how meaningful this moment could be for others.
The TWD team members are all professional dancers who love weddings and are passionate about creating unique choreography while encouraging everyone to find their inner dancer.
We understand how important this day is to you, and the pressure it brings - we would be truly honoured to be a small part of it and help bring the fun and joy to the event.

Wedding planning is stressful enough. Your dance lessons should be a highlight of the lead up - a fun break where you get to laugh, connect, and create something special together.

Jeni choreographed our first dance for our November 2022 wedding, and all I can say is - she is so sweet, so kind, so lovely and patient! My husband and I have two left feet and the memory of goldfishes so I was very, very doubtful that we'd be able to get through dance lessons but Jeni made it all so relaxed and easy for us.
On the night the dance went perfectly, and everyone came up to us afterwards and commented that it was the best wedding dance they'd ever seen.
Jeni's choreography perfectly suited the goofy Shrek song we chose, and on the night we really just went all out and didn't hold back - it was SO fun to perform and I don't think we would have had that experience with any other type of choreography.
Also - at one point in the lessons I asked Jeni if we could alter part of the dance to be a different style and she re-choreographed it to match exactly what I was imagining in my head, and that was also very much appreciated.
There's just something really magical about a person who can make two awkward people feel giggly and happy when dancing. Thank you Jeni, you're magical..”
